Have you read Teeth of the Gods by Sarah K L Wilson, or Shift of Shadow and Soul by Hilary Thompson? well they are in the main box set and have short stories in the Origins box set, and I call tell you they are AMAZING!
There are so many brilliant books in these sets! Some I’ve read, some I haven’t but the ones I haven’t will be reviewed here for you all!
One of my favourites in the Origins box set is Prince of Hawks by Sarah K L Wilson.
I absolutely loved learning more about Rusk from the unweaving trilogy which is a amazing trilogy (yes I know that the 3rd book isn’t due to be released until the 13th of July but I just finished reading it and it blew my socks off! )
I’ll leave you all to rush off madly and pre-order all of those!
Ohh almost forgot there’s also a colouring book in the series and it’s awesome! here’s a pic from it, but be quick as when I checked Amazon UK earlier there were only 2 copies in stock!
Have a fab weekend!
So earlier this year I read the Silence series by Natasha Preston which I really enjoyed so I decided I’d read all her other books.
I’ve literally just finished Reliving Fate which she released a week or so ago.
The story line and characters are brilliant!
Bella finds her sisters diary, her sister was murdered 12 years ago and Bella is determined to find out who it is that killed her.
It’s fast paced, thought provoking and I didn’t work out who the killer was which is great as normally I can work it out.
I would suggest people have a box of tissues to one side as you may need them.
Absolutely loved this book, highly recommend it although it does contains lots of adult themes such as sex, murder, drugs and mentions of prostitution.
look for the links below this gorgeous cover!
Right I’m going to love you and leave you as need to proof read a certain book! (you’ll hear all about it in a future post!)
Have you ever heard of Rachel M Storm? I hadn’t either until a author friend of mine asked if I would like to read and review the book. Well of course I jumped at the chance as I love to discover new authors (and share them with you lot!).
Forbidden Affections is about Claudia who spends her life tracking and killing all the vampires she can find while she tracks down the King of the Vampires. And about Jake, Prince of the Vampires, who has been tasked with killing the vampire hunter.
With secrets at play and love blossoming what will happen with the pair?
I really enjoyed this book and I loved the twist on how you can kill a vampire (want to know it? go read it!) there are sex scenes in the book but not the type that make you cringe and shudder (which I must say makes a change from some books I’ve read.)
I would highly recommend this to anyone that loves vampires and paranormal romance. Fans of Jennifer L Armentrout’s “Wicked” series are sure to love this. And for just 99p/$1.28/KU you can’t really say no!
So have a read, tell me what you thought and don’t forget to leave a review for her, Remember reviews are the food of authors! Find the links below the awesome cover pic.
Happy Reading, I can’t wait to hear what you all thought about it!
So a week or so ago I started this saga, in total there are 9 books, I’ve currently read up to book 3 (Chosen) and to be honest I’m not sure if I should continue.
I love the plot of the books – vampires, werewolves, witches, a curse! But and there is a big but… It is written quite childlike. All the kisses in it are “hot” and there’s just no variation on it. I do want to see where it goes and how the series will end but I’m not sure if I can read 6 more books of “hot” kisses.
In all honesty as much as I like the series I think it could be better written if done by a different author.
You can get book 1 – Crush on Amazon so if you fancy reading it give it a go!

You may see another post from me about the remaining books, you may not. I’ve not made my mind up yet and my to be read pile is growing!
For this series so far I’d give the plot 5 stars but the writing 2-3 stars. But don’t write it off, you may love it!
So yesterday I delved back into the world of Nile Greysik as I joined her adventures in book 2 of the Tides series.
War and wind is just as well written as Ash and air, it’s just as gripping and has left me wanting more, (so it’s a good thing a 3rd book is in the works! Yay).
Every time I read Alex’s work I become absorb by her style of writing, I feel as though I am Nile out on the open sea, I feel what she feels to the point at times that my emotions betray me.
For anyone that has yet to read book one I urge you to, you will not regret it. And once you have let Nile’s world absorb you into it once more by reading War and Wind.
Last night I finished Queen of Destruction by Gwynn White and Erin St Pierre.
Queen of Destruction is book 2 in the Queen of Extinction Trilogy.
I absolutely loved it!
In book 2 we follow our lovely Aurora and her entourage as they carry on their story of magic, love and fighting for what they believe in (I hate spoilers so if you’ve not read book 1, hopefully this doesn’t give anything away to you!)
A fab follow up to Queen of Extinction and I’m already itching to get my hands onto book 3. I need to know what happens!

Also just how pretty are the covers!
Have a fab day!
So the other week I got given a copy of The Liberty Box by C A Gray to review. So here’s that review!
The Liberty Box follows Kate Brandeis and Jackson Macnamera as they learn about the world they are currently living in, a world that is not all it seems.
The Potante saved The USA and turned it into the Republic of the America’s but at what price does his tyranny come at?
For me, the prologue where you learn about the Potante and the history of his tyranny actually bored me a lot, I just couldn’t get into it, but I carried on reading and I must say I’m glad I did.
After a few chapters I really got into the book and wanted to learn more about Kate and Jackson and see how they coped and dealt with what they had discovered about their world.
I will be reading the others in the series as I want to know what happened, so please don’t let the prologue stop you from reading this great book!

Have a fab weekend reading!
