So this review is about a book that’s pretty special to me.
It came out on the 13th of July and is the first book I have officially proof read, it even has my name in it… twice!
Thunder rattles high is the 3rd and last book in the unweaving trilogy by Sarah K L Wilson. It’s where we follow Tylira right to the end of her journey and where we find out if she can save her world or if she can’t. It’s incredibly well written, has heart warming moments as well as tear jerking ones and also has ones that make you want to reach for your (metaphorical) sword and join in.
If you’ve read the first 2 in the series you really need to read this, in fact if you haven’t read the first 2 you need to go read them so that you can read this (definitely read the others first as this starts exactly where Lightening Strikes Twice left off and won’t make any sense if you try it as a stand alone).
A little Easter Egg from the Author…. If you look at all 3 covers we’ve slowly zooming in on Tylira’s face. Want to find out other awesome stuff about her books? Join us over at her Blackwatch and Beyond group on Facebook (I’m an admin there) and you’ll get to join in loads of fun things including live videos with Sarah herself!

Sorry for such a long gap since my last post, I’m currently busy reading an unedited ARC of The City of Vikings by Farah Cook so have been making lots of notes to email her.
Because of this I thought I’d do a post about a book I read earlier this year.
The dead list by Jennifer L Armentrout.
On the way home from a party Ella is attacked, she manages to get away…. But then things start to appear. A clown mask on her bed, a dead bird in her locker.
Why is she being targeted and is she the only one?
From the start this book grasped me around the neck and yanked me into it’s pages. I loved the story line from start to finish and I didn’t manage to guess the killer which for me is a huge deal as 9 times out of 10 I’ve worked it out before the author tells us who it is.
If you’ve read one of her books before, like me you’ll know you’re in for a treat. If you haven’t then this is a brilliant chance to sample her work.
I’ve managed to be very lucky and get my hands on a copy of Marked By Fate Origins.
This is full of short stories about the characters that are in the books in the Marked By Fate box set that is available to pre-order on ibooks and Amazon now! The Marked By Fate Box set is due to be released on the 24th of October.

The Origins box set is due to be released on the 7th of July you can pre-order yours here:
Have you read Teeth of the Gods by Sarah K L Wilson, or Shift of Shadow and Soul by Hilary Thompson? well they are in the main box set and have short stories in the Origins box set, and I call tell you they are AMAZING!
There are so many brilliant books in these sets! Some I’ve read, some I haven’t but the ones I haven’t will be reviewed here for you all!
One of my favourites in the Origins box set is Prince of Hawks by Sarah K L Wilson.
I absolutely loved learning more about Rusk from the unweaving trilogy which is a amazing trilogy (yes I know that the 3rd book isn’t due to be released until the 13th of July but I just finished reading it and it blew my socks off! )
I’ll leave you all to rush off madly and pre-order all of those!
Ohh almost forgot there’s also a colouring book in the series and it’s awesome! here’s a pic from it, but be quick as when I checked Amazon UK earlier there were only 2 copies in stock!
Have a fab weekend!
So earlier this year I read the Silence series by Natasha Preston which I really enjoyed so I decided I’d read all her other books.
I’ve literally just finished Reliving Fate which she released a week or so ago.
The story line and characters are brilliant!
Bella finds her sisters diary, her sister was murdered 12 years ago and Bella is determined to find out who it is that killed her.
It’s fast paced, thought provoking and I didn’t work out who the killer was which is great as normally I can work it out.
I would suggest people have a box of tissues to one side as you may need them.
Absolutely loved this book, highly recommend it although it does contains lots of adult themes such as sex, murder, drugs and mentions of prostitution.

Right I’m going to love you and leave you as need to proof read a certain book! (you’ll hear all about it in a future post!)
So a week or so ago I started this saga, in total there are 9 books, I’ve currently read up to book 3 (Chosen) and to be honest I’m not sure if I should continue.
I love the plot of the books – vampires, werewolves, witches, a curse! But and there is a big but… It is written quite childlike. All the kisses in it are “hot” and there’s just no variation on it. I do want to see where it goes and how the series will end but I’m not sure if I can read 6 more books of “hot” kisses.
In all honesty as much as I like the series I think it could be better written if done by a different author.
You can get book 1 – Crush on Amazon so if you fancy reading it give it a go!

You may see another post from me about the remaining books, you may not. I’ve not made my mind up yet and my to be read pile is growing!
For this series so far I’d give the plot 5 stars but the writing 2-3 stars. But don’t write it off, you may love it!
So yesterday I delved back into the world of Nile Greysik as I joined her adventures in book 2 of the Tides series.
War and wind is just as well written as Ash and air, it’s just as gripping and has left me wanting more, (so it’s a good thing a 3rd book is in the works! Yay).
Every time I read Alex’s work I become absorb by her style of writing, I feel as though I am Nile out on the open sea, I feel what she feels to the point at times that my emotions betray me.
For anyone that has yet to read book one I urge you to, you will not regret it. And once you have let Nile’s world absorb you into it once more by reading War and Wind.
